How do I notify users from within InSite that pages are ready to be reviewed?
Once logged into InSite, on the left hand side is an toolbar with an icon of a person with a "?" next to them. Select the page or pages you would like to be reviewed, select the "request review" icon on the left hand tool bar and then click the names of the individuals you would like to receive notification. For more info, see the video Power User Tools as this goes into more details regarding this and other InSite tips.

I just uploaded files to InSite, but I do not see any auto processing activity?
When pages do not auto process there could be 1 of 2 things happening. First, were the pages named properly. You must follow the proper naming conventions(PDF, 434 KB) for PDF files to auto process. If naming is not the issue and pages still are not processing, please contact your RRD Customer Service Representative for them to dig deeper.

I accidentally approved a page and now I need to change it...can I just overwrite that page?
Once page is approved, the customer is locked out of that page. This is a safety feature to keep pages from being changed when we plate. Once a page has been approved, you can re-upload the fixed page, but it will not auto process and will not replace the old page. You must contact your RRD CSR for this to take place and they will take care of this change for you. Remember that this process to swap the revised page will take longer since this requires operator intervention and is similar to the time required to fix a page in the legacy paper proofing based workflow.

While in smart review, looking at readers spreads, the left page is a right page and the right page is a left page. Is there a way to fix the placement of pages in readers spread?
Yes! What you need to do is while in smart review, click on the folder icon on the center of the screen, between the words "approval in progress" on the left and right. This will being up a dialog box that will allow you to select the left hand page as well as the right hand page. Here's a screen shot for more detail.

Help! I know there are more pages then I can see in my gallery or thumbnail view. How do I see all my pages?
In the top left hand corner of your gallery or thumbnail view you will see "Show" and then have a drop down menu. Make sure Show All Pages is selected to be able to se all the pages. using this tool you can narrow down your search for pages by just showing approved pages, pages ready to be approved, or rejected pages. Here's a screen shot for more detail.

When I upload a PDF file, the file name changes and there is an added ".p1" at the end of the file name. What is that?
The adding of ".p1" has its roots with multi-page PDF files. When the system, slipts apart a multi-page PDF file into individual pages, it appends ".p1" for the first page, ".p2" for page 2 of the multi-page file, ".p3" and so on. So when you upload a 10 page PDF file, the tenth page will have a ".p10" appended to the end of the file before the ".pdf". Now with single page PDF files, they will all be appended with ".p1" as they are the first (and only) page of that PDF file. When you upload revision pages in your single page workflow, make sure not to add the ".p1" to the name, please uplaod the file named exactly as it was when you first uplaoded the file.
